The basis of your studies is the study plan, also called curriculum<\/strong>. Each course (LVA) has a certain number of ECTS<\/strong> credits, which reflect the workload (1 ECTS = approx. 25 hours). A bachelor’s degree requires at least 180 ECTS and lasts six semesters (but usually more at TU Wien). <\/p>\n\n

In the study plan you will also find the semester schedule<\/strong>, which is only a recommendation, except for the STEOP restriction.<\/p>\n

STEOP<\/h2>\n

STEOP<\/strong> \u2013 The STudies Entrance and Orientation Phase is there to help you find out whether the bachelor’s degree you have chosen is suitable for you. It is a pool of several LVAs that are intended to provide the basis for higher subjects. <\/p>\n\n

The STEOP must be completed in order to complete subjects from the third semester onwards. Although it is intended to complete the STEOP in the first semester, the STEOP subjects are offered in both the winter and summer semesters. <\/p>\n\n

The STEOP for the Bachelor’s program in Business Informatics<\/strong> comprises 15.5 ECTS<\/strong> and consists of the following subjects:<\/p>\n\n
