We support you with advice, represent you in committees (e.g. in the study commission) and organize events (advisory breakfast, workshops, talks, parties, &#8230;) for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally some of us are engaged in the official student council of Business Informatics and Data Science and represent you to the university.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"tasks\">Tasks<\/h2>\n\n\n<p>Our tasks are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>representation of the interests of all Business Informatics and Data Science students at TU Wien<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>advice and support for all kinda uni related topics for students and people who want to start to study<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>organisation of events (parties (Festl), breakfasts (Fr\u00fchst\u00fccke), workshops, talks etc.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>committe work in several kinds of committies (Study Commission, Faculty Council etc.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You can find more services we offer in the &#8220;Services&#8221; tab on this homepage.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"members\">Members<\/h2>\n\n\n<p>People who feel part of the Fachschaft sometimes refer to themselves as &#8220;Fachschaftler&#8221;. It is importnt to mention that anyone who&#8217;s interested in joining can do that. Yes, even <a href=\"http:\/\/www.winf.at\/en\/the-team\/#join\"><strong>YOU<\/strong><\/a>! You can find the many different tasks our members are in charge of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.winf.at\/en\/the-team\/\">here<\/a>. All of our members work voluntarily and have a lot of fun while doing so!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You have an idea you want to realize with us? We would love to hear about that! Come to one of our <a href=\"#fs-meetings\">FS-Meetings<\/a> or just drop by during our <a href=\"http:\/\/www.winf.at\/en\/contact\/#opening-times\">opening times<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Keep in mind that you don&#8217;t need any previous knowledge but just motivation!&nbsp;\ud83d\ude09&nbsp;We&#8217;ll teach you everything a Fachschaftler needs to know.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>DON&#8217;T BE SHY. Just come along! \ud83d\ude09<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"fs-meetings\">Fachschaft-Meetings<\/h2>\n\n\n<p>We have regular FS-Meetings were we talk about all kinds of topics related to the studies and to discuss how we are going to accomplish our tasks and plan our events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You&#8217;ve got an idea you want to realize with us? Or do you want to become a member? Maybe you just want to listen to the discussions or even give your opinion. In any case &#8211; we welcome you to come along! You can see when the next FS-Meeting will take place in our <a href=\"http:\/\/www.winf.at\/en\/calendar\/\">calendar<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Keep in mind that the meetings are hold in German.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"rooms-and-budget\">Rooms and budget<\/h2>\n\n\n<p>If somebody talks about &#8220;the Fachschaft&#8221; the person would usually refer to our rooms. These are provided to us from <a href=\"http:\/\/htu.at\">HTU<\/a> (Hochsch\u00fclerinnen- und Hochsch\u00fclerschaft an der TU Wien <em>or the Student Union of TU Wien<\/em>) so that we are able to offer our services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Furthermore, HTU provdides us with a budget that we can use to buy stuff and offer you events (like free coffee, free breakfasts, Freshers&#8217; events etc.).
